How Big Are You?

What’s Your Temperament?
This month has been hard on you. You are cutting some teeth and they have made you fussy, snotty and whiny, especially in the afternoon. You seemed to come out of it towards last week though.

What Are You Eating?
Everything! Sometimes I wonder if you have a hollow leg! At dinner, it seems like we can never give you enough food. You also have figured out that if you don’t like something you do 1 of 2 things. You either spit the food back out gently or you throw it on the floor.

You now only drink out of your straw cups and you don’t seem to be dribbling as much out of your mouth as you used to around your birthday.

What Are you Sporting?
Still rocking your 12 month pants but only because mom doesn’t want to buy you all new pants. Everything else is either 18 months or 18-24 months.
You wear number 4 diapers at daycare and at night time. You are still rocking your cloth diapers at home at night and on the weekends.

How Are You Sleeping?
When daddy is gone, you are sleeping through the night like a champ. Sometimes you wake up but not very often. You also fall asleep on your own in your bed like a pro. The only night we had problems with you was when we put you to bed early for throwing your dinner all over the floor. You didn’t like that at all and it took you 2 hours to cry it out that night.

Where I am with you…

1st visit to the Park

The weather is finally starting to warm up enough that we don’t have to bundle up everywhere we go so we went to our favorite park for a visit at the end of March to play. This was the first time Guyon had actually played at the park. The only bummer was that they don’t have good swings at this particular park. (Don’t worry though, we have tons of other parks close by that we need to try out and see if they have swings!)

Guyon really enjoyed playing and going down the slide!

Every year the Yacht Club that we belong to does something fun during the winter time to socialize with the club members. This year, since I am part of the leadership of the club now, i was in charge of planning the outing. We decided to visit Winterthur and go to dinner at the Brandywine Brewing Company in Wilmington.

It was a really interesting tour and there was a lot to see. I actually would love to go back at some point and see more of the house because it was so impressive!

This was just a few of the photos I took. Everyone that went had a great time and our little was a great tourist for the day.

Birthday Party

We held the little man’s birthday party at our house on the Saturday before his birthday. We had 18 people here for the day. We had Grandma, Grandpa, Granny, Grandpa. Uncle Andrew, Allie, Uncle Daniel, Great- Grandpa, Brandon, the Owen’s,and the three of us. It was a lot of fun!

We had all of the G-man’s favorite foods for lunch and then leftover pizza for dinner! (Yes, 2 meals!) Chicken, applesauce, bananas, berries, french fries, and cheerios were on the menu. The only fancy thing we had was a cheese and meat tray with nuts and fruit.

When it came to the cake, once you got the hang of it, you loved it! I think you ate the whole engine part of your cake!

You got lots of new clothes, books and a Radio Flyer trike. You loved all of it and you have figured out how to stack your cups like a pro.

Here are just a few of photos from the day.

Finally, after months of having ear infections and tons of antibiotics, G was able to get tubes in his ears. The night before we let him stay up late. We played trains and watched basketball. He didn’t quite understand why he was getting to stay up so late but it seemed to help the next morning with his surgery. He was a champ and they are helping a ton!UntitledUntitledUntitledUntitledUntitled
