Back to work today. It was pretty hard for me to get up this morning. I am still not feeling 100% but hopefully will take something tonight that will help me to continue to get better as this weekend I have to work most of the weekend!
Sean worked on making our lawn not look so thatchy tonight while I fixed tacos for dinner. They turned out very good! Ground turkey is becoming one of our favorites! Tonight will also be the night we make sure the budget went well for this past month.
Sunday we went out on the maiden voyage of the season. It was wonderful even though the weather was a little cooler than I would have liked it to be. The first picture is of Sean enjoying his time riding as Paul is playing captain. The second is a picture that Sean snuck of me while I was napping. I started getting a little bit of a cough in the afternoon and the nap felt wonderful. Last night I took some medicine and it helped some.
There will be a lot more pictures from Saturday but I don’t have those quite yet. This would be the relaxing glass of wine that we celebrated with Saturday night. These are also the new wine glasses that we have for our outdoor outings. They actually come apart and the top turns over and mounts on the bottom. Talk about cool and they store in very small spaces.
Very enjoyable day and night!
This is what our Friday consisted of. Getting things ready for the rest of the weekend. It also consisted of lots of grass cutting and grocery shopping.
With the first pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts pick, Andrew Luck Stanford. Yep we are watching a little bit of the draft tonight and out favorite tv shows.
Today was a pretty typical Thursday for us. We both worked out after work and then Sean came home and cut a little bit of the grass while I did a few things in the house.
Tonight’s dinner was very late. It was great though. We had tuna steaks, veggies, and broccoli slaw(different than I normally make though).
This was my dad’s contribution to our picture of the day adventure. They had grilled kabobs and corn for dinner and I happened to call right as it was coming off the grill.
