This picture is sooo much Sean and I. We are always goofing off doing something stupid and this picture captures it all!

I actually did all of the editing on these pictures. We still have more coming and those are probably my favorite pictures. I do really like the last picture here though!

More to come soon, I promise!

We got some strawberries in our first batch of our CSA and I didn’t know what to do with them because we have had so many already. Then it hit me that I wanted to fix a pie. So of course I went to Pinterest to see what I could find. Well I found this one and thought it sounded good. We had all but one ingredient so I stopped on my way home to grab it.

Here is what the pie turned out looking like (like you saw here):

It was so easy to make and how can you go wrong with strawberries and chocolate!

80 Days to go until the wedding and you get a picture of a strawberry chocolate pie! I am not sure what came over me today but I decided to fix strawberry pie with the strawberries that we got yesterday from the CSA. This pie smells delicious. We are going to have some in a little bit while watching the Sixers Celtics game. (And for those of you that know me really well you know how much I don’t like watching NBA basketball but I will do it because Sean enjoys it a lot!)

Tomorrow we leave to go to visit my family. I can’t wait! I am sooooo excited it is going to be awesome!!!! See you all very soon!

After picking up our first batch of CSA crops, I realized that I had no idea how to fix bok choy and so off to the internet I set for a recipe. Well actually I checked a couple of cook books but had no luck at all. The internet helped and I also remembered a dish that my aunt who is from the Philippines, makes sometimes when we are around them.

I ended up making bok choy and sausage. It turned out really good

I did the sausage first and got it pretty much cooked all the way through and then added all of the bok choy to the pot which almost wasn’t big enough but I squished it all in there! I did add a tiny bit of soy sauce to mine on my plate and it helped to give a little zest to it as well!

Our side tonight was a salad with peaches, spring onions, and parmesan on a bed of greens and spinach. Super yummy!

It was all great and a very summery meal!

Today was a different day for me but turned out to be ok. Today was the first time that we got to pick up our CSA food. We decided to try something out for the summer and get fresh locally grown produce each week from a local farm. So today we got a head of red lettuce, spinach, green onions, a quart of strawberries, and bok choy. I will admit that when I saw that we were getting bok choy I wasn’t really sure what we were going to do with it but it turned out nicely. Thank goodness it was also things that will last a while since I get to see my family this weekend. The strawberries will be gone before we head west.

I will admit that I am getting very excited for everything this coming weekend. I am getting really excited to see everyone!!!
