Bringing in Wedding Year

While browsing Pinterest (my obsession I talked about here), I have started to see more and more about these projects that scrapbookers do called Project Life. Project Life is a lot of times done with pictures or something to represent either each week or each day of an entire year. As I started thinking about it, what more fun would it be later in life to look back and see a picture a day from our wedding year? So my goal is to collect all of the pictures on here every single day.

By the time 2012 ends we will have 223 days of preparation and fun, 1 gigantic day of a new beginning, and 141 days of wedded bliss. I can’t wait to see what each day holds for us and I hope that the time doesn’t go by too quickly. This is one event in my life that I want to come but I want to enjoy each day to the fullest by preparing more for our marriage than for the ┬ábig day. Yes the big day does take lots of preparation but I only hope that those details don’t take over my life and I forget the real purpose of the whole event, our marriage.

So to start it off……….

January 1st or Picture #1 of Wedding Year

We recently visited home to see all of my family at Christmas. I was a little bummed out that we had decided to come back when we did and felt like I didn’t really get to spend as much time at home as I wanted. Man of the House decided that he wanted to take me someplace special this week so I wasn’t just doing errands and house work the whole time. We went to Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA (I will post more pictures of this later because I really do love this place).

This picture also happens to be one of my most favorite pictures that we have ever taken. I have tons of pictures of the two of us and this one tops them all.(at least until I see our wedding pictures!)
