Family / Fashion / Food / Travel

This blog has been around for about 8 years now. For the first few years, I would blog all the time. Mostly about life. I started this mainly to update my family on what all we were up to in life while living about 800 miles from them. Many of the family members enjoyed reading the blog and when we added our little man to the family, I saw a hike again in those that were reading because they wanted to see how G was growing.

As time has gone on and life happened, the blog fell by the wayside. Well, after being away for a bit, it is time to revive the blog. As in all new seasons of life, there are changes. In this case, there are many changes, not just the content of the blog but also life. We will be a family of four starting in late June/ early July as we welcome a new little one to the family. I will also become a stay at home/work at home mom at that point. Our little family is in need of this change and after lots of soul searching, we made the decision that this was something we really needed. We hope that this decision will bring more of a balance to our family as well as let a passion of mine fly.

Over the last couple of months, I have started to do a lot of research into what all I really needed to do to make things work for us. I started to plot a plan in my head after listening to several different podcasts, finding new people to follow on Instagram, read a new book and researched a class that would really benefit me to learn more about the process of making money in this realm.

So, what does that mean for the blog? It means that there will be a shift. I have already started to rework the design and the menu. The content will be next. I am working to start shifting our focus to things that our family is passionate about, not just the things that we are doing on a daily basis. You will start to see more about Food – recipes from home and food out and about, Fashion – both kids and adults, and Travel – local to us and nationwide(and hopefully abroad…one day). These three things are areas of our life that we have had others mention to us before that we are passionate or ask for our opinion.
