How Big Are You?
24lbs 7oz
30 inches long
46 cm for your head

What’s Your Temperament?
You have been a little more fussy this month, mainly due to ear infections and sickness. You still are a good little guy though. You are so flexible and do pretty much anything we take you to do. You always have a smile on your face and laugh a lot. Most people say that you are a joy to be around and that you are a good little boy.

What Are You Eating?
You still eat like a champ. You are doing a much better job of picking up, tearing big pieces into smaller pieces, and chewing your food up.

You are such a good boy when we go out to dinner too. We don’t go out that often but you are typically a very good little boy when we do.

A normal day consists of….
Feed from mommy when you wake up.
7-8am – Cereal and Cheerios transitioning more away from cereal these days and more fruit and Cheerios
9-Noon – Drink cold cup of milk
Noon – Lunch time
1-5pm – Cold cup of milk and small snack
5pm – Dinner
7pm – Feed from mommy and bedtime

What Are you Sporting?
You wear mostly 18 month clothing these days with a few 24 months thrown in there.
You wear number 3 or 4 size diapers when at daycare and at night. You still wear your cloth diapers at home.

How Are You Sleeping?
You still seem to wake up occasionally at night time and there have been a couple of times this month that you really wore mommy and daddy out getting up at night. Since you got your tubes though you are starting to sleep longer at night time.

Your naps are getting shorter though. We are lucky to get two 45 minute naps out of your but then other times you surprise us and you sleep for a couple of hours.

Your bedtime routine really does help you even when we traveled. Typically we follow the same routine each night:
Dinner
Bath
PJs
Brush your teeth
Story time
Eat
Bedtime

How Big Are You?
I am not sure how long you are currently but you did weigh 22lbs 14.5 oz when we were at the doctor’s office last week.

What’s Your Temperament?
You are still a happy chill dude. You will cry when you are really frustrated or when you are really hurting but not much more than that. As sick as you have been over the last month, you are still really happy. You did cry one morning when I dropped you off at daycare but you haven’t done it too many more times. You will sometimes freak out and cry when you see us come to pick you up. I think you are pretty attached to us, kid!

What Are You Eating?
What don’t you eat is more of the question. Actually, the girls at daycare would say you don’t eat your bottle. You will only let Ms. Courtney feed you from a bottle and that is on a good day.

A normal day consists of….
Feed from mommy when you wake up.
8am – Cereal and cheerios
10am – Bottle
Noon – Lunch time
2pm – 3pm – Bottle and small snack
5pm – Dinner
7pm – Feed from mommy and bedtime

What Are you Sporting?
2 days before you turned 11 months old, you decided to completely pop out of your 12 month clothes. For real, overnight they didn’t fit. It was very different than the way that you grew out of your other clothes.
You do still fit into your 12 month sleepers but that won’t be for very long.

How Are You Sleeping?
GREAT! You go to bed most nights on your own now and sleep until about 5 or 6am. It works great during the week, we just wish we could get a little bit more on the weekends! (Mommy and Daddy are being greedy with those thoughts.) You still take at least 2 naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sometimes they are 45 minutes and other times they are a couple of hours long.

Not sure on this one. We won’t have these stats again until you are one.

What’s Your Temperament?
You are showing us your personality BIG time. You are one mischievous little boy sometimes but ALWAYS happy. You started the month off with ear infection number 4 and you still seem to be a happy go lucky little guy. You are also a great little traveler and a people person. When you get tired though, you need your naps, you get cranky if not!

What Are You Eating?
All table food. Whatever we have for dinner, you have for dinner as well. Most days you have breastmilk in between your breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are a good little eater too. You LOVE meat and will do some damage on your fruits and veggies. You also really enjoy applesauce and cheerios. I honestly think you would eat them every meal if we would allow it.

What Are you Sporting?
Some majorly cute clothes this month. It was the holidays so of course you dressed to impress. Still wearing 12 month clothes in pretty much everything.

How Are You Sleeping?
You slept great for the most part this month. You did an awesome job in all of the strange places we visited. You also napped like a champ too while we were away.

Dislikes
– Not being able to walk where ever you want to go.

Fun Moments, Favorite Notes, Guyon Quirks + Milestones:
– Pulling up on EVERYTHING. Which also means that you want to walk more than you want to crawl. If we don’t help you walk, you whine a lot. Daddy says you are almost less mobile than you were because you want to walk and you just aren’t quite there yet.
– Standing up on your own. You are really starting to master this and I am sure mommy won’t be so worried about you soon when you are doing this a little more steadily.
– Received a letter from Santa.
– Played more in the basement.
Untitled
– Finger painted Christmas gifts for your grandparents.
Untitled
– Play peek a boo all the time!
Untitled
– Play with your walking toy more each night before bath.
Untitled
– You don’t use the laundry basket in the bath tub anymore.
– Celebrated your first Christmas. We celebrated at our house first, then with Granny and Grandpa before heading back to Indiana for Christmas eve with Aunt Bev, Uncle Wayne and the Deweese’s. Christmas day was with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Sam and Uncle Andrew.

– The piano player at the Homestead became your friend quickly. He even played “Raindrops keep falling on your head” for you before bed one night.
– Start the New Year off with Daddy having to go to work in Iowa for the week. We survived the first week!
Untitled
– You eat solid food at daycare now. It helps mommy too because I don’t have to pack as much for you now.
